Costa Rica environment minister steps down under fire

Environment, Energy and Telecommunications Minister Roberto Dobles has resigned from his post, according to a statement issued Friday by President Oscar Arias’ office.

It’s amazing that this guy tried to get away with anything.  He knows everyone is watching him, but no, he had to make special deals with a family member on the new mining concessions bill.  Sometimes I think I should get into politics!  !!Did I just say that?  Please ignore anything that I say regarding myself and politics.  Besides it’s the weekend.

Costa Rica and bio fuels

In one of my earlier posts I talked about bio fuels in Costa Rica.  Here’s what we are working on now with the government.  Go to www.biofueldynamics.com to get the lowdown, but in short this process will eliminate a huge ecology problem in major cities of the country.

The beauty of the process is that we capture everything that goes into a city’s sewage treatment plant, including all the toxic gases, and convert them into many forms of reusable bio fuels and resources.   For example; solid mass is converted to both bio-diesel and fertilizer, methane gases are captured and used to power a generator for electricity and remaining mass is converted to reusable lubricants.  After our system has completed all the conversions, the only thing that is released from the facility is clean water.

What do we do with all these products?  We sell them on the open market, sharing the profit with the city, thus creating a revenue stream while at the same time absorbing their operating costs for the treatment plant.  Oh and by the way, the facility is built for free using federal bonds.

So to put it mildly, their profits really are in the toilet!

Thanks for your interest and keep me in mind if you have any referrals to city officials, whether it be in CR or any city you think may need this.

Bio Fuels

A couple of posts earlier I mentioned my interest in Bio fuels and now I want to tell you about how Bio Fuels are the rage in Costa Rica.  An article in the Tico Times last week talked about the governments desire to be the world leader in bio fuel technology and implementation.

I am working on a biofuel project myself and I have to give you the skinny about it.  Whether it be Costa Rica or any other country, they all have somewhat the same dilemma.  They all have water treatment plants and problems with the waste byproducts disposal.

Well what would you think, if I showed you a process that takes the water treatment plants (sewage) and transform all the product into biofuels?  Amazing huh?  All that sludge is turned into bio diesel, fertilizer, lubricants and eventually electrical generation.  Take a look at www.biofueldynamics.com for more details.

Anyway, this process can be used anywhere and we are very proud of its capability to not only eliminate the 4th largest contributor to global warming gases, but will also create safe reusable products with absolutely no toxic byproducts, including pure clean water that can be used for irrigation or simply released back into nature.

We are presenting this program to the government of Costa Rica as well as many municipalities in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
